Chances at Duke, Hopkins, UPitt, CMU

<p>Hey guys, I'm pretty much lost in where I stand in this whole admissions process. Basically Im an American citizen of Indian origin whose been living in India for the past 3 years. Pretty confusing stuff. So I'm pretty set on biochem and I applied to some really good colleges, but at the moment I feel totally out of it looking at all these scores. I'm in a boarding school doing the IB programme. Our counsellor is totally incompetent and didnt give me any idea of where I stand. So if you could just chance me on Duke, Hopkins, and UPitt that'd give me some idea of where I stand. My grandpa was a student and then a professor at Duke and my dad went to CMU if it makes much diff..Anyways these are the top tier colleges I've applied to so let me know if I have some sort of a chance. Thanks in advance.</p>

Teachers Recs- one would be amazing and the other should be pretty good

Essays- On the whole I feel they were pretty good.</p>

Captain of my House(Think of Harry Potter..)
Organizer of the sports department during a school fest</p>

<p>Work in a cardiologists office over the summer</p>

Upitt and CMU safe</p>

<p>if u r applying for financial aide and is an international student this will hurt ur chances in hopkins and i'm pretty sure for duke also...gl!</p>
