Duke is my son's #1. He is a junior in the Northeast. Smart kid, but struggled juggling his course load - so GPA is not stellar.

Great at interviewing - very poised, mature
and DOUBLE legacy (mom and dad - undergrad and business school)

Is he applying ED

what’s the unweighted gpa?

Yes! Just not sure if he is applying to Trinity or Pratt.

School only reports weighted - but my guess is he is about a 3.4-3.5. His classes are all honors or AP. And we are in a very competitive school system.

Still, Duke takes the best. His UW GPA is very low compared to those who get in. GPA matters a lot in admissions. I would say he has a chance but don’t be optimistic.
