<p>Call the school and ask. Don't take anyone else's word on it.</p>
<p>First off, I will say that I am looking at similar schools, and what I have generally heard is that schools want one math, one english, and one on a subject of your choice. I know they aren't required at Emory or Umich, but I think that Emory would like to have them. Vanderilt just uses them for placement.</p>
