<p>Academically you're in. Just make sure you give the adcoms something unique to remember you by, other than "the guy (or girl) with great stats".</p>

<p>Also, what are you interested in? Duke and Pomona for instance are very different schools with very different personalities - Duke is (IMHO) more greek/rah-rah athletics/supersocial/less liberal/big classes/pre-professional oriented. Pomona has minimal greek presence/intellectual/pre-PhD/more liberal/small classes/community service oriented.</p>

<p>For example, if you're pre-med, Duke may be better. If you're interested in international relations (ie Fulbright Scholarships), Pomona may be better.</p>
