<p>9th: all gifted classes except honors citizenship
10: all gifted classes and AP European History
11th: all gifted classes and took PreCalc/Adv.Trig
12th: taking gifted physics, APchemistry, and calculus AB + BC</p>

<p>EC's:
-Marching Band 9-12 (head section leader 11-12) :Performed in prestigious parades (2003 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City, 2004 Presidential Inaugural Parade in Washington D.C., 2006 Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, Ca., 2006 McDonald's Thanksgiving Parade in Chicago, IL and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Parade.) Competed in 6 competitions. Grand Champions at 3 and 1st runner-up at 3.</p>

<p>-Jazz Ensemble 10-12 : performed 40 times a year. Played for several dignitaries including GA Governor Sonny Perdue, State Super-Intendent Kathy Cox, and Ex- Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor. Recorded a record in Franklin, TN.</p>

<p>I'm hoping to go to Gatech for aerospace engineering. It's basically the only school I want to go to because its in state, thus, much cheaper.</p>

University of Florida
Viriginia Tech
CalTech
MIT</p>

<p>Any comments are very much appreciated. Some of these schools are totally unrealistic but give me your thoughts anyway. :D</p>

<p>You might as well not even waste the money applying to Caltech and MIT. I can already tell you that you will be rejected. Your SATs are also 100 points below GA Techs average. If I were you i would really try and get my SATs into the 1300 range.</p>

<p>You have a chance at GAtech because your in-state and they might want you for their band. But remember, GPA and SATs are the main things any college looks at. I would say you have a 50-50 chance of being accepted.</p>

<p>MIT Caltech?? u freaking kidding me? 1800 applying to caltech? i have 2200 and and 800,800,750 SAT2s and I am so sure i hav no chance at all getting into MIT or Caltech</p>
