What are my chances at Georgia Tech, UCLA, UCSD, Purdue University and University of Illinois? Are there any other universities that would particularly suit me? THANKS

Your SAT score (2020) is the major concern.
It would’ve been good if you have taken SAT II Math 2 and another math-related subject test.

Percentages represent the likelihood of you being accepted.

Purdue - 90% (I think you can get in easily)
UIUC - 40% (Average acceptance rate for computer science major is sub-10% these days. It is getting harder, too.)
Georgia Tech - 30% (Georgia Tech is getting very hard too these days. It is nearly behind Carnegie Mellon/Harvard/MIT when it comes to computer science, so it is getting very competitive.)
UCLA - 40%
UCSD - ? (Don’t know much about UCSD, but I heard that it’s a good CS school, too.)

What do you think about these colleges that are reputed for computer science and are match/low reach schools for you?:

The Ohio State University (Rolling)
Virginia Tech (ED)
University of Maryland – College Park
University of Washington – Seattle (RD)
University of Wisconsin – Madison (EA)
University of Massachusetts – Amherst (EA)
University of Virginia (EA)

Thanks for the comprehensive answer!

Yes i have taken my SAT II math 2 earlier this month. I’m expecting anywhere between 730 and 800. Definitely nothing lower. How much of a difference will my good score in the SAT II math make to my application?
