Also,

Purdue
University of Illinois

for engineering

GPA: 3.78

200+ hours of community service

I am still a junior
Next year, I will be taking

AP Physics
AP Calc BC
Engineering Architecture and Construction I
Engineering Architecture and Construction II
Gym
English

If you do not think I will get in, please tell me what I can do to better my chances (how much my scores would need to improve etc)

thank you

also, my rank is 70/749

and I'm also looking at Virginia Tech

Virgina Tech = accept, I think

Cacophony - georgia tech is an incredible school for engineering and I am glad you are considering it.

I think your GPA is fine. To be on the safe side raise your SAT score(especially the math score) to 2000+/2400. If you can accomplish that you will be in.

You will pobably be accepted to Virgina Tech and Georgia Tech.

thanks guys
I'll definitely try and raise my SAT scores. My math should go up now that I've had trig.

Also, do you think I need to take any SAT IIs ?
You think it would help my chances if I took the physics and math subject tests?

any other opinions?

how about Carnegie Mellon, Purdue, and University of Illinois?

also, are there any other engineering colleges I should be looking at? I will most likely do aerospace.

thank you

should I take any SAT IIs ?

btw, I am Indian if that matters

Georgia Tech doesn't look at SAT IIs. I'm not sure about the others.

also, what do you guys think I would need to get into Cornell?

I don't really have any ECs so I know my chances are very low, but do you think there is anything I can still do to get into Cornell?
