Chances at Hamilton or Kenyon?

I am interested in studying English and Hamilton and Kenyon are currently two of my top choices. I hopefully want to choose one to apply ED.
My weighted gpa is 4.10, I have a 2200 on the SATS, 740 and 700 on my Chem and U.S. History sats 2s. I also have taken 6 aps and gotten 4s or 5s on all.
So do you think I have a chance of getting into one or both of these schools? Which should I pick?

You have reason to expect a good chance of ED acceptance to either school. Your SAT score is near the top of Hamilton’s middle range, and above Kenyon’s. For any admissions officer paying attention, your AP scores would be impressive.

Both colleges are strong in English. Hamilton has more interesting science offerings and may be more academically balanced in general if that is a consideration for you. Kenyon has collegiately appropriate proximity to authentic Midwestern farming communities; Hamilton has some farming community feel as well, but also easy access to suburbia, and is within range of fully wild areas in the Adirondacks. Hamilton has a hockey rink for recreational skating. Both Hamilton and Kenyon are beautiful, academically excellent colleges and easy to recommend.
