Chances at Honors and Full Scholarships

When I visited Miami I fell in love with the school and it is my definite first choice. I am in-state and my top priorities besides liking the college is the ability to pay for it and the quality of eduction. I plan on doing AFROTC, but I am not sure if I will get money from them and I would like to know if I have chances at merit scholarships. In addition, I would like to be a part of the Honors College. Here are my stats:

GPA: 3.83 unweighted and 4.17 weighted.

AP: Jr. Year: Euro History and Language (both 5 on test); Sr. Year: US History, Calculus, Am. Government, Literature.

Class rank:16 of 277.

Extra-Curriculars: Decent to good, National Honor Society VP

SAT: 690 CR, 630 M, 680 W, 2000 Total

ACT: 32 (Haven't gotten my latest scores back yet)

Essay & Recommendations: Both are pretty good.

Thanks for chancing me!

According to the MU website, you’d receive at least half-tuition given your current GPA and 32 ACT score. Here’s a link to their scholarship page. The deadline for priority consideration for anything above half-tuition is December 1 so if you haven’t applied yet you need to do so ASAP. Good Luck!!
