<p>The reaches are because those schools are a reach for almost all applicants. Admissions decisions can be very random at times.</p>

<p>I think you are definitely in all of them except HYPS.</p>

<p>I don't know, but I think it would be helpful to have more AP's for HYPS, but you're into the others. Good luck! And write your essays well.</p>

<p>thanks, i was kind of worried about courseload too. is 7 total APs enough? also how are my ECs? i forgot to add science olympiad (no major awards) as an additional one.</p>

<p>try for hyps, you have a shot. just like all the other 20k+ applicants (maybe only 10k+ of them are actually qualified & in the running though..)</p>
