Going by ACTs...
Harvard rejected 94/100 in RD, and you don't stick out
So did Yale and Princeton and Stanford
And MIT and Caltech and Columbia
So i say no, but who knows

Okay chance at Duke and Penn
Decent/good chance at Chicago and Cornell
Good chance at JHU for regular, BME is a lot tougher so I dunno
Guessing you get into one or two or three or even more! of these.

Thanks for the response. What you are saying is mirroring a lot of the concerns I have about my selections being too top-heavy. Oh well...what's done is done.

Anyone else?

NUMBERS:

gpa and sat's are below average for the ivy leages you are applying to...
sat II's are good numbers, though i must say, it seems like everyone these days is maxing out on the mathII ...
i agree with karl marks on your chances at chicago, cornell, and duke.
best of luck~

Will schools look at ACTs instead of SATs? I think I read that most will consider only the better of the two.

What does "Columbia: Fu" mean?? I saw someone else post Columbia fu, fu, fu. My head will explode if I don't find this out.

Fu school of engineering and applied science.

Oh, I am also expecting publication (as the secondary coauthor) in an economics journal (probably too late for colleges to consider).

Maybe you should get a recommendation from the first author.

Your courseload is quite impressive -- keep up the good work!
