Chances at Illinois, Purdue and Penn state

Hey, I'm your average student, and I reside in Maryland. I am also an international student because I have an A-2 Visa and my father works for the Bangladesh embassy. I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out what chances at these colleges are:

University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign
Penn State
Purdue University West Lafayette

High School GPA: 3.0 unweighted, 3.7 weighted
SAT I: Reading 560, Math 670, Writing 590
SAT II: Not taken
Extra-curriculars: martial arts tournaments, cross country, track, tennis, debate team, chess team, best buddies, key club, amnesty international

I am also enrolled in the IB (international baccalaureate) program and a candidate for the IB Diploma

I wish to major in engineering, and i have a very strong science background (6.5 credits at the end of my high school career)

ive been stressing out for the past few months, any help would be appreciated

thank you

Penn State --> match

Illinoise --> slight reach

Purdue --> reach

Good for Penn State and UIllinois. Purdue admissions depends on how early you applied.

Err....isn't Illinois harder to get into than Purdue? Granted, I live in Illinois, but many people consider Purdue a safety (in the case that they didnt get into UofI).

Also, the middle 50% ACT for the engineering school is 30-32. I know for a fact that Purdue's is quite a bit lower.

Assuming your 1230 SAT is equivalent to about a 27 ACT, I'd say that purdue would be a match/slight reach (avg=29) and UIUC would be a reach (middle 50% 30-32). I'm not trying to be morbid or anything...but these are two schools I'm very familiar with/have visited.

would being an international student work for or against me?

also what are my chances of being accepted into penn states honors program?

The deadline for Honors program has already passed

the schreyer honors program deadline is rolling till march
