Chances at intl transfer

Hi, I go to St Andrews as a freshman and want to apply to Middlebury for fall 2007. What would my chances be like?

I got a 2080 SAT, and 5s on AP lit and lang. In A level, I have AAB in English lit, History and Classics, with a Distinction in Advanced Extension Award English (about 100 people a year make it) In my first semester of uni, I'm not finished with finals, but I've gotten two firsts in International Relations, a first and a two point one in English, and a two point two average in Latin. My work has been affected by illness, and I have a doctor's certificate to that effect, but I'm not sure if my grades are okay.

As for ECs - I directed a play for the first two months, as a freshman. I founded, and run a society for ballroom and latin dancing, that is intended to become a competitive team. I sing in the chapel choir, act, and participate in photo soc, as well as Christian Union. It's not many, but the play took at least 50 hours per week, and teaching dance/running the society takes roughly 10-15 hours a week, so it's a lot of time. I also have a job for 9 hours every Saturday, and work through every holiday.

What are my chances at transferring?

It looks like you did your prep in the UK. What's your citizenship?

I don't know anything about the UK system so I can't help. I wonder if there's another board where you could post.

Have you contacted Midd? Someone senior in the admissions office might be able to help you. You could email and ask if you could set up a time to telephone.

i think transfers for midd is very difficult, but give it a try.
