Well you obviously have a good chance at all of the schools you listed. I don't know too much about LACs in terms of their science programs, but my cousin is a premed at Carleton. She loves the school and they are really top-notch in the sciences (acc. to her).

Thanks! Yeah I've heard so many good things about Carleton too.
That'll probably be one of the ones I end up applying to.

Carleton is a well-hidden gem.

hehe thanks for the advice.

Anymore thoughts on chances or advice?

bump .

or "Presbyterian Minister", or "Preschooler", or even, are you a distant relative of Elvis PRESley?!?!? come on, we need to know these things!!

lol uhhh I don't want any useless posts on my threads.
Shoo.

ooookay.
Anyone else like to add something?

haha yay that yale guy got banned so now my posts don't make any sense.

okay so anyone have any input?

I could keep bumping this thread forever =P

What, no Grinnell! But it's in Iowa! Looks like you are interested in med, if that is the case then sign up for Williams, Amherst, and Swarthmore, they are great med school feeders.

haha yeah I don't think I'm apply to Swarthmore, but I am worried that Amherst and Williams will be too much of a reach.

super bump .

Amherst, Williams or Swarthmore- Reaches (2)
Carleton, Wellesley or Vassar- Matches (2)
Smith or Mount Holyoke- Safety (1)

if i were you;

amherst (45% in)
swarthmore (45% in)
carleton (65% in)
wellesley (75% in)
smith (85% in)

Well I can't give you any advice on chances as I'm in the same boat as you are, but I visited both Mount Holyoke and Smith and, in my opinion, although they have about the same SAT requirements, etc. I found that they had really different atmospheres. So, if you are looking to eliminate some schools, perhaps you should see which one you prefer out of those to.

okay thanks a lot for your help!!!
I'm most concerned with getting into Wellesley, it's pretty much my first choice.
Amherst is also high on the list for me, but I know they're so unpredictable in their admissions and even the "best" can't get in, so I don't expect much from them anyway.

Well I'll just hope I can do my best with Wellesley! =)

collegeprep11-- I like how you said reach but then put 45%. You're very generous haha. When I read the first post, I imagined reach meant about 10% chance. =P

golden_fish12-- Yeah I think I've decided to apply to Smith but not apply to Mount Holyoke.

u have a great chance at all of them...
