essays will be solid

Also, can someone comment on the strength of middlebury science programs? I am interested in premed and want to know if I will be OK possibly attending school here as opposed to other universities/colleges.

Thanks

There is some discussion in the Penn vs. Middlebury post about science at Midd. Panthergrad has some helpful comments in several posts. Your stats look pretty solid to me for ED but people always say that nothing is certain at top schools.

thanks hitch

Other views? I’m really nervous!

I agree, your stats are highly impressive and assuming your recs + essays are strong, I would hazard a guess and say that you have a good shot. Then again, nothing is ever sure until the letter is in hand…I found that out this year. In the end schools like Midd will have thousands of highly qualified applicants…but it’s not always about the stats when they accept a candidate. The most important thing you can do is demonstrate a) your interest in the school (make it clear it’s your first choice by applying ED, interviewing, visiting campus) and b) how you specifically can contribute to the Midd community.

That’s all I can think of right now…hope it helps.

thats great advice. thanks!

I think you look great. Are you considering playing soccer? If so, fill out the recruiting form. it could help.
My S who was ED 1 this year is a premed/bio major. The science facilities and opportunities are awesome.
