Hi all, I have started my college applications and before I go any further on them, I would like to know what you believe my chances are in to getting in to any of these schools. The colleges I’m planning on applying to include UW-Madison, UM-Twin Cities, UT-Austin, FSU, and ASU. I know the first 3 might be reaches, especially Texas, but whatever. My stats are just average. I have a 3.5ish GPA with a 24 ACT. (Screw the ACT I’ve taken it a handful of times, I think 5, and can’t get what I want… a 27). I’m around 25% in my class of 350. Maybe a little better. I’ve taken AP: us history, Micro, Macro, and stats. Well I’m taking stats this year but don’t really know if it’s even worth the stress of my senior year. Lastly, I have over 200 hours of community service. Also, I would love to go to CU-Boulder, but the price is catastrophic for the education you receive. I know I would get in but how is Boulders Aid and grants to a higher class family. Probably pretty bad.
