Chances at New College of Florida--Will Chance Back

Hi,

I'm a Florida resident--and really hoping to get into NCF. I attend a non-traditional school--a collegiate high school. That means that a lot of my high school credits are replaced with college credits. I will have every single one of my college basics, aside from foreign language and maths, out of the way by the time I graduate.

Stats:

Unweighted GPA: 3.8
Weighted: 4.1--4.4 when my college credits are added in.

SAT:
Critical Reading: 720
Math: 510
Writing: 680

I'm taking the SAT a last time in October before applying. I expect to definitely raise my math score to somewhere in the 580-600 range, if not higher.

I've taken English I, II, and III Honors, getting A's in all three; my English IV was replaced by College Composition I, in which I scored an A. I took Algebra I and II honors; I got an A in I and a C in II, which really bugs me... It's the only C I've ever been given. Geometry Honors was a B. Math is my only weak spot--I get A's in everything else.

I'm set to go pure college in senior year, with a schedule of Oceanography, American National Government Honors, Family Psychology, a three-part Humanities Honors course, Macroeconomics during this summer term, and Comp II.

EC's:
Quiz Bowl
German Club
Literary Club (a founding member)
Technology/News Club
NHS
SGA
Library Young Adult Advisory Board
Ambassador Program at my school (Essentially, I represent the school, give tours and mentor incoming juniors, am a part of the committee that takes part in deciding new clubs and so on...)

I plan on founding the writing club in my new school--I've been in three different high schools, if you count a semester of home schooling due to a move--during senior year.

I'm in the top 10% at least, if not 5% of my school--it's a small school, for juniors and seniors only.

This past year, I actively contacted middle school and elementary schools in my area, which is known for a lack of funding in its public school arts program. As I am a planned Art History/History major with the hopes of become a college professor, I offered the teachers art presentations free of charge, and presented to several schools. The presentations were on Modern Art; I quizzed the kids afterword, and was called back by one teacher for an extra engagement. It was effectively teaching the class, and I can get letters from all of the teachers. I plan on doing this during senior year, if I have the time.

This summer, I volunteered to assist my favorite professor--the Chairwoman of the Humanities Department at my school's corresponding college--with her summer classes. I put twenty hours into making presentations for her classes. I've had two classes with her, and will have four by the end of this coming up semester. She has offered to write a letter of recommendation, as has my school's Assistant Director and my English teacher. I can also get recommendations from a couple of other professors, but I think that the Head of the Department's is the most impressive.

I'm taking as many college honors classes as possible.

I am a writer. My essay writing skills are, not to flatter myself, fairly accomplished. I've always taken challenging English courses, and have never been given less than an "A" on any of my essays--through Honors classes, advanced placement classes, college classes...

I've visited NCF and plan on visiting again. I'm on their mailing list, have demonstrated lots of interest, and attended a class on Modernism--with my area of interest.

What do you think?

Edit:

I've also accumulated over 100 hours of service--at the library, serving at the local soup kitchen, Habitat for Humanity, my local Teen Pregnancy Prevention Alliance, etcetera.
