<p>ouch. this hurts you. i would suggest applying ED if you want any chance getting admitted when you are outside of the top 10% of your class and not a performance major/recruited athlete. Either that or try to break the top 10% in the next semester.</p>

<p>It seems like an arbitrary cutoff but it is how they structure their class profile data when reporting it so it becomes important.</p>

<p>I was towards the bottom half of the second decile (top 20%) and I'm heading to NU. I think you're fine.</p>
