I'm currently in yr 12 and am a British student. After exploring some of my options, I was thinking of applying to NYU or Columbia (more NYU considering Columbia is basically like oxbridge). I recently took my ACTs and am waiting for my results, I often achieved a score of 28 in my practise papers. Regarding grades, I got 5A*s,5As and 2Bs at GCSE and an A in Additional Maths FSMQ. My predicted grades for AS are AABB in Maths,Chem,Bio and Art. For extracurricular activities I do several music clubs, run amnesty, the school's wardrobe dept for drama productions, a fashion blog which gained me press accreditation at LFW, Tate Collective (where we curate events at the Tate museums in LDN) and am in the National Youth Theatre. Is NYU/Columbia a realistic choice for me? or is it out of reach?

N.B. The fees are slightly steep but manageable for my family.
