<p>I don’t think any of your ECs will balance out those scores.
NYU, BU, and Northeastern are all pretty tough schools.</p>
<p>If you apply and are accepted into the HEOP prgram in any New York State college or university (SUNYs, CUNYs, NYU) which sponsers the program your chances of accepance are increased dramatically. However, to be accepted into the program you must abide by the criteria for acceptance which includes:</p>
<p>-econmically handicapped (per person in the household or residence)
-Inadmissable via admission standards</p>
<p>USUALLY an HEOP/EOP member is a minority coming from an urban public school w/ low grades both GPA and SAT/ACT wise.</p>
<p>Looking at your credentials I have confidence that will will be accepted or at the very least very competitive for the school you are interested in, therefore I see no need for the program at all. I’m sure that if supported with a solid essay, good interview and if you display an overall interest in the school you should be fine.</p>
