Chances at schools in nc?

My GPa is 4.5 weighed and 3.9 unweighed. Rank is in top 10% (26 of 350).

Need more info than that to chose

Like what?

SAT/ACT scores, extracurricular activities being the main ones.

Oh ACT 24 played bball three years and track 1. In beta club.

With a 24 you are guaranteed UNCP and maybe Asheville. You need a 29-31 for UNC Ch and like a 31-33 for maybe duke.

What is UNCP like?

Complete ****. Worst UNC school. I live in nc so I know this stuff

You do…I was thinking about going there…any insight on all the others?

You have to raise your ACT. Charlotte has good engineering and architecture(for a lower standard schoo), Asheville is in a good place and idk much about it. Chapel Hill is very good overall. Duke is higly selective and you must stand out, Wilmington is okay, but has excellent marine biology program. App State is okay and better if you get into the honors program.

What about a business school?

I don’t know any to be exact… Because I am interested in a medical profession so I don’t look up schools which are better in business.

What about NC State? Get your ACT up a couple points and you’ll have a good shot, being in the top 10% of your class.

For business I’d go with Chapel Hill- They have one of the best programs in the country for a public school but you’ll need to work harder or stand out with ACT and extra stuff. UNCC is pretty good too (Charlotte girl!) because they are near Charlotte which is one of the nation’s best business hubs so you can be guaranteed there are internships. For UNCC you would probably be a match but work harder just in case. UNCC also has the Levine scholarship but you have to be really good. The scholarship allows a full tuition and even pays off study abroad to some extent. Appalachian state is in your range. They have a good program and a lot of my friends who go there do business or business law.

Thanks! Finally I’ve gotten the right information!

P.S. all those schools sound good to me…^^^
