Obviously I have no idea how they are. But I'm having two teachers that supposedly write some killers, according to past students, do them. I talk to those teachers regularly since I've had them, and they know me really well. I also help them out super often.

So yes! If you want more info, just ask! Thanks in advance for your responses!

That is an extremely low UW GPA for Stanford. Based on experience and research, you’ll need SAT II’s that break 700, and your SAT will have to be higher than 2000 to have a substantial chance. I would highly recommend not wasting time and money on a Stanford app, and instead focus on those other schools; having said that, for those schools, you still need a higher GPA for a good shot. Just work your butt off next semester, and impress adcoms with rigorous courses, awesome ECs, and stellar recs.

Good luck! :)

Thanks for your response! Yeah I realize that Stanford would be a total crapshoot. It’s just an app to see if by some miracle I would get accepted.

Yeah the GPA bothers me but there’s not a whole lot I can do about it unfortunately! Thanks for the advice! I will definitely keep that all in mind :)

Great senior class load out. It’s still a long shot, but colleges love to see an upward grade trend and you taking challenging classes.

Goodluck!

with your GPA, the only ones in range for you would be the CSUs, UCR, and SCU. I also recommend UC Santa Cruz if you haven’t looked into that school yet
