<p>The top schools I am applying to are Stanford EA, UPenn, Columbia, Dartmouth. How are my chances at each school? Should I apply Stanford EA or raise my SAT II scores and apply RD? Also, is UPenn Wharton School a lot harder to get into than UPenn? Thanks.</p>

<p>Nothing about you really stands out, so i'd say a 50/50 chance at columbia, dartmouth
I lot better chance at upenn, it's really not that hard if you have the stats
stanford ea-it was brutal last year and i expect a similar performance this year, so probably not</p>

<p>The 3's and 4 on AP scores might hurt you if you mention them...so don't. Otherwise good chance at Penn Columbia Dartmouth and schools of that level, because you have good stats and have cool EC's. What is the Senate Youth Program? Is that like the 'paige' thing at us congress? Its ok if you don't know what I'm talking about. </p>

<p>Good essays and recs will give you a good shot at Stanford too. All the best kids in my grade are probably applying there early, and you have the same stats as them practically. Penn college is easier stat-wise, and Wharton requires a whole different type of EC's (more business oriented I guess).</p>

<p>So will the two 4s and one 3 hurt me more than help me? I shouldn't mail them my AP scores at all then? Well, the teacher writing my recommendation was my AP US History teacher. She's usually pretty modest and she might say in the recommendation that it was her first year teaching AP, so I didn't do as well on the AP test as I should have. I guess thats not something I should count on though.</p>

<p>That's terrible advice. Send your 3's. Not sending AP scores at all is a very questionable thing in the first place.</p>

<p>Your test scores indicate that you are capable of doing college level work. You may simply be hindered by the resources and teaching capability of your high school. The admissions committee will certainly understand. Not sending in your scores would suggest that you took the class without taking the AP, or that you got a 1 or a 2.</p>

<p>District finalist? So are you actually going to the Senate Youth Program? I'm a State Semi-Finalist right now (10 out of the state), and I still have to interview. Have you done an interview yet?</p>
