My Essay was good, but perhaps not personal enough. My Recs were above-average. I'm from Colorado (obviously), so I don't know if that will give me a Geographic advantage or not. Will my SAT2 USHistory score hurt me? I'd appreciate any feedback!

I'm not to into this whole "chance assessment" stuff, in the end you either get in or you don't, and with Stanford most of the time there's no way to tell. I will say, though, that I think you have a reasonably good chance, above the average applicant. You have nice ECs which show leadership and a focus on certain interests, and obviously have done very well academically. Considering your other scores, I don't think your US History score will hurt. I am wondering, though, does Stanford prefer to see a Math (IIC?) score? I guess it's not required, so if they do want a Math SAT II it won't shut you out, but just a thought.

About you coming from Colorado, it might help you a little, I don't know how much, but you probably have a geographic advantage over California applicants. Don't know how much it counts for, though.

Good luck!

Thank you!
