I am mainly concerned with my chances with Stanford EA; possibly a deferral in reach? I'd also appreciate input on: UCLA, UCB, Harvard, Yale, Princeton, maybe whichever other Ivy League schools. Basically - top schools.

your like me, except basically a little bit better at every category(except CR & writing where we are the same). Good luck, im sure you have a chance

K right now, there is nothing in your resume that stands out. Your GPA is awesome, but so many applicants have 4.0. Your SAT scores are subpar for ivy league schools, and the worst part is your EC's.

Since you seem to be in grade 12, I don't think there is much you can do about your EC's at this point. Just try to raise your SAT scores to 2300+ (this is essential for you, because your EC's aren't very good at all). The biggest thing you should focus on, though, is your essay. It will either make or break you for the ivy leagues. You must shine through your essay, so get a lot of people to edit it and basically create a perfect essay. Good luck.

I am now beginning to regret not having studied for SATs... Well, I've still a week before the October one's; would a 2250 range make me more competitive? I just took a practice one, missed one on math, missed three on writing, and six on critical reading.

Additionally... do these help out at all?
