Chances at Stanford ?

<p>I am currently doing a bachelor degree (expected in 2011) in microengineering at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (Switzerland) and would like to know my chances for the MSE (Management of Science & Engineering) master degree.</p>

<p>My low point is my GPA (bad), here are my EC's:</p>

<p>EC:</p>

<ul>
<li>Visiting Research Student at the University of Tokyo (Advanced Mecatronics Labs)</li>
<li>Industrial Internship in a swiss manufacturing firm</li>
<li>Vice-president of an association and have done project with Nobel prize laureate and managed teams from all over Europe</li>
<li>Other stuff but not as important</li>
</ul>

<p>I still have to take the GRE and IETLS.
Next summer I'll try to get an internship in a top consulting firm to have better EC's.</p>

<p>With a low GPA, no chance. Extracurriculars and experience won’t cover it; it’s too selective for the graduate level, especially for stuff in the sciences.</p>
