Hey I'm new here. I would like to know what you guys think about my chances for an MS in Aerospace at GeorgiaTech. I'm an international applicant. My stats are :

I don't think I lack in extracurriculars, and I have a good number of internships under my belt at reputed companies. I guess the one department I don't have much in, would be research work (paper publications, etc.) Also, my GPA isn't wow. I just got an admission letter from Purdue University for MS Aerospace.

Taking all these factors into account, please do let me know what you guys think. Thanks in advance. :)

I wonder how a 7.4/10 from your country would translate on the 4.0 scale.

Finally, ECs don’t matter that much other than work experience. Research experience is a bigger factor when applying for PhD programs than for MS ones.

Hey Catria, thanks for replying.
And, 166 Q and 159 V, if that’s what you meant by “what’s in” a 325. A 7.4 directly converted would be 2.96/4. But I’ve heard that the scaling system would show my GPA as a 3+. I think it’s safe to assume that it’s in the early 3’s.

It’d be great if you could have your say on my chances though.
