Boy Scouts- 4 years

Ive done other things for like a year or two, but I am not posting these because they really werent important

Essays- Amazingly original, represent me as a person so completely, No one else could have wrote them. Wrote one on B-Batteries and lack of them, one on how my favorite piece of art is the Naked Gun(movie), etc English teacher said I had the best she's seen in a while

Recs- below average, because I am an underrachiever

My view:

Super reach- University of Virginia
Merit money from anywhere but temple + PSU

slight reach- TCNJ

Match- Northeastern
VA tech
James Madison
Merit$ at Temple

Match/Safety:
U of Delaware
Penn State - I automattically get money if acceted, my brother goes there

Safety: Temple University

BTW, I already got acceted at rutgers, But I'd really rather go to Temple

I wouldnt have applied to Rutgers and PSU if my parents didnt make me, and my 'rents wont let me go to Northeastern w/o money, so i think thats a long shot

Thanbks for the help, and if you need more info just ask

I definitely think you're getting into Temple with those math scores. Wow, that's amazing, an 800 on the math section is pretty crazy. I wouldn't worry about Temple, I really think that you're getting in there. Good luck!

I implied Id rather go to my safety(temple) than rutgers

Id probably rather go to any of the other 6 than temple

Oh woops, I read it wrong. Still, I think with that math score you're going to get into most of the schools on your list. That's definitely a really really really big plus.

bump 10 char

A humble college freshman's point of view.....................4 of us sitting here, and this is what we've come up with for your Virginia choices.

UVA/No
JMU/Accepted
Tech/Waitlisted

Your class rank it actually good. Your SAT's of course are good. Your EC's are OK, but Tech doesn't care about your essay or your EC's. JMU will like your SAT scores to boost their own meger stats and they want your OOS money........................hmmmmm, it's a maybe for JMU but my guess is yes. Good Luck and let us know how it goes. So confusing dude with that 5.2/7.0 What???? What the heck?? Did I miss something...........how did that wind up to be a 3.0???

5.2 / 7.0 where 7.0 is all As in all APs/ Honors

I have taken 12 H/AP classes (roughly 20 offered)

a 6.0 is an A in an accelerated class, or a B in an AP/H class
Ive taken 9 A classes (2 because they were the highest class offered freshman year, 4 in english, 3 in History)

a 5.0 is a B in an accelerated class, or a C in an honors class

Our school has 4 levels
Honors/AP
Accelerated
Regular
Modified

rank is based on weighted GPA

bump

I can now verify:

800 IIC

Here's another thing to consider.....................I did not think about this before but...............your SAT math scores are VERY good. Perhaps they will offset your GPA in a technical school like VA Tech. I would get the Tech admissions office on the phone and I would ask to speak to your area representative (very important). Make contact with him/her. Tell them about your grades and SAT scores and tell them how interested you are in Tech. You have to do something to stand out, and I'm not even sure in a school as big as VT that it's going to help, but you need to make that contact.

burrrrrump

another bump

sorry, but i need more than 3 oppinions

need another oppinion
