Chances at the Ivies, Rice, Duke, Vanderbilt

What must one do to get another reply?

I've been thinking about liberal arts schools lately since I think I may prefer a smaller university.

Based on your SAT's alone you have a good shot at these colleges:

Northeast: Amherst, Barnard, Bowdoin, Brandeis, Bryn Mawr, Colgate, Columbia, Haverford, Johns Hopkins, Lafayette, Middlebury, St. John's (Maryland), Smith, Swarthmore, Trinity College (Connecticut), Union (N.Y.), Vassar, Wesleyan (Connecticut), Williams.

South: Davidson, New College, Rice, Trinity University (Texas), University of Dallas, Washington & Lee, William & Mary.

West: Claremont-McKenna, Pomona, Reed.

Midwest: Carleton, Oberlin, University of Chicago

I don't really know anything about any of those schools. But they are definitally at or below your SAT range. GPA wise...some might be harder than others such as University of Chicago. Currently UChicago would be a reach...same with Columbia, Hopkins, and Wesleyan...don't really know much about the others. But you have time for that, especially if you continue to take challenging courses.

I would advise you to go to Princetonreview.com and just check out each college. Because they will list the SAT range, GPA, and all of that stuff from each college so you can find out which ones work for you. Or just do one of those tests where they match you to colleges based on the criteria that you have filled out.

If anyone has anything to add about those colleges feel free too. Since I just got that list online and I can't really say for too many which would be safeties or matches.
