eh wtvr. im tired. ur in. have fun at hahvahd.

hun, if your stats are real, then I wish you best of luck in your future. Maybe reality will hit sooner or later that after you get into a college, all the time you've spent building up that intense resume would have been wasted for the most part because you don't seem to have nurtured any passion for anything. Your EC's are everywhere and everything. It's like you went and tried to take every leadership position in every club in your school - something I personally despise as a student, because this usually results in very VERY subpar leadership level, and is only a product of selfishness that eventually drives clubs into the ground.

All of the clubs I lead have flourished better than ever, I am a good leader and manage and am totally commited to all of my EC's.

-The Harvard Guy

hmmm if you were real...you would probably be in the guiness book of world records for being the most amazing african american...if not the most amazing person to grace this planet

Hey guys, don't be condescending to him now. Pebbles, I think it might be a little rash to say that to him just based on what you see on a resume, but I do agree with your philosophy that people should actually do things they enjoy, not just for college app purposes.

Esa, Good luck at Harvard or whereever you end up :-P just don't apply Yale EA please!! ;)

well i think your lying! but hey best of luck to you

I see someone with 90% chance to harvard.

.........!

Hey, I'm really worried because I'm an early graduate with only three years of high school after graduation and only two for college admissions purposes. I've talked to Yale, Harvard and Princeton officers and they all swear to me that they do take early grads and dont' discriminate however I'm still scared. If you could look at my stats and tell me honestly how you think they match me up I'd really appreciate. By the way, I'm graduating early because I've exhausted my school's Advanced Placement offerings with only three more possibilities next year and because of family financial instability(we just moved and are dealing with paying for two houses at the same time).

I'd really, really appreciate if someone can evaluate my chances for me. Also, I went on a campus visit and REALLY LOVED Yale. I know that's it a frickin' hot school because the numbers from last year were insane. Advice would be WONDERFUL. Thanks so much.

make a new thread -

Maybe I'm unfamiliar with sports but can one do track basketball and crew? unless you people have three seasons a year on the other side.

Is it strange he got a 5 in spanish and french?

anyone else?

What are the stats of a the first ranked kid?

Sadly, I actually know someone who had better stats than you do...he's at Harvard though.

Elite private school? 223 graduating?! That's HUGE. Exeter?

Your composure while being question is admirable. But I still find your credibility wears thin when you listed all the MVP's followed by Acolite of the year , and 3 very different and difficult instruments for which you won first place 3 years in a row. These awesome achievements are followed by Bikathon winner and mad scientist award (almost forgot: Intel Engineer of the Year). On top of that you found time for basketball, crew and track in 4,4 and 3 years of committement. All of this while you compiled almost perfect academics. I have met or known several geniuses but yet to meet someone who is a so well-rounded genius such as you claim to be. I hope you are really out there.

i am 100% sure that you are BSing.
1) no elite NE preps rank at all
2) 4yrs varsity crew at any elite prep is logistically impossible because of seniority
3) captain of math at an elite prep is impossible if you are not USAMO lvl, esp. somewhere like exeter
4) no elite prep college counseling office would let you use that list of schools
5) elite preps have some of the best high school newspapers in the country. leadership positions on my school's take 20+hrs/week, and 2yrs is impossible, AGAIN because of seniority.

If you had even one of those ECs at an elite prep, you would be a lock for harvard. Just being on the newspaper board has been enough to push mediocre students at elite preps into Harvard or Yale.

ONE WORD: OWNED

tell me what prep you go to if you want to still defend yourself...

Okay...

Firstly, this is clearly a parody. Some people need to stop making such an issue of it.

Secondly, please no more thread hijacking, LOL. It just irks me. Sorry.

you are the single smartest person i've ever known (in cyber-space or the real world).

this thread should end. it's no longer productive for any parties involved-just a big 'ol war. but, I must say...unless you are the next michael jordan and really didn't have to practice much to be so great at your sports, then I don't see any way your list can be worked. also, dude, why would your school's counselor let you put all those ECs on the list. Frankly you look scattered just like I did when I posted. Considering you go to an "elite private school" you should at least have known better. I'm sorry to say this, but dude, this forum is for accurate assessments-not for bogus ego trips.
