Hey – nice job with everything you have done; call me overly optimistic but your ECs don’t look weak to me
I can’t answer your question about being an immigrant but you definitely have the stats for a top school. Of course, lots of people do – far more than they could ever accept – so all you can really do is your best and hope it pays off. Remember that whatever happens you did what you could and you will wind up somewhere fantastic, even if not your first choice. Best of luck.

ps how do you already have AP scores from this year?! Mine aren’t supposed to go out until July 8 :(

Thanks! Just what I needed to hear
I’m satisfied with that.

And my AP Chem teacher is kind of an LBJ in that she has tons of connections and strings she can pull so she always gets scores super early. She is sorta known by college board, its kinda sketchy actually haha.

wow ok i wish i knew her! haha just goes to show how much the college board likes to keep us all anxious for as long as possible lol. anyway good luck again!

You are definitely in the running. The problem with the super competitive schools is that you could look perfect and not get in. Once you cross the line for acceptable, it is more about how you fit their view of holistic admissions and how your profile would enhance their worldview. In other words, you have a 4.5-9% chance for each of them. Good luck.
