Chances at top engineering schools?

Currently a high school junior.

GPA: 99.96
Class Rank: Top 1%

SAT:
CR: 710
M: 750
WR: 780
I'm taking it again very soon, predicting ~740-780 CR, 780-800 M, same writing. Also going to take Math II and Physics subject tests, which I think I can score 780-800 on.

ECs:
Tennis 9th
French Honor Society 10th-11th
Tutoring 10th-11th
National Honor Society 11th
Robotics Club 11th
I haven't been very active in ECs over the past three years but I've spent a lot of my free time pursuing my interest in CS (obviously my major).

I taught myself Lua, a simple programming language in 7th-8th grade. I used it to create some small games on an engine called Roblox Studio. In 9th grade, I made an incomplete graphics rendering engine that took rectangles defined by 8 vertices and displayed them on a 2D plane (it couldn't distinguish which rectangles were closer to the camera than others). The same year, I taught myself basic trig and created a simple gun that fired with a parameter of accuracy. There were a lot of other projects buried somewhere in my hard drive, but I think these are enough to show my passion for CS.

Anyways, the schools I'm looking into are UC Berkeley, CMU, Stanford, MIT, and Columbia (idk why, it just appeals to me). If there are any other major engineering schools I'm missing, can you please include them in your replies?

Sorry, forgot APs

Last year:
Computer Science: 5

This year and next year:
Physics 1
Physics 2
Physics C (counts as 2)
Language and Composition
Literature and Composition
US History
Microeconomics
Statistics
Calc BC

If you continue on the track you’re on this year, you’ll be in pretty good shape academically. ECs aren’t very strong, which will hurt you at these schools you’re applying to considering how selective they are. Stanford, MIT, and Columbia are very high reaches, while the other two are reaches. Apply to more match schools, depending on where you live. I live in the northeast, so I’m applying to Northeastern, Rochester, RPI, Cornell, and UMass Amherst as a safety.

Hey MrHistor,
With a record like yours I would not hesitate to look at School’s like Princeton (very well known for its engineering program), and Dartmouth. The thing about Dartmouth is that it allows you to try out EVERY branch of Engineering before choosing your major.
As EppingForest said, Cornell is known to have one of the best Engineering Schools out of the Ivys, and offers an interesting entrepreneurial twist to their program.

Also, don’t be afraid to think international. The Technion for instance constantly ranks within the top 3 undergraduate engineering schools in the world. Last year they sent 6 students to Stanford for Masters Degrees - out of which they ranked 1,2,3,4,5, and 20…

In short, keep an open mind, tour the colleges you are interested in, and see which one fits you best.
Happy hunting!
