I'm also doing Collegebound, and have POSSE Foundation interviews next week, which is directly connected to UC Berkeley.

Also, planning on a philosophy major, which UCB is pretty damn good at.

Other than UCs:
USC
Maybe a CSU.
Columbia for the hell of it.

UCLA admitted freshman profile 2012

[Profile of Admitted Freshmen, Fall 2012 - UCLA Undergraduate Admissions](http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/prospect/adm_fr/Frosh_Prof12.htm)

225 students with a 3.29 to 3.69 got admitted! Why not you?

yeah the difference here is that i am heavily relying on my ECs and Personal Statement because my numbers really arent that good, sort of the reason I’m doing POSSE as well.

Exactly!

It would be interesting to know what made the difference for those 225 students. I think rigor could make a difference at UCLA and maybe the other top UCs as well. Note the number of a-g’s, and the number of weighted classes in the profile. I hope you will come back and let us know.

Best wishes!

Thanks! It’s been difficult the past few years, theres a lot of history.

send over the essay to me and i can properly chance you.

for sure, thanks.

bump… anyone else?

anybody else? :p

Last bump. Any other opinions?
