Chance for UC, possibly?

I'm one of those poor unfortunate folk who decides to take all honors and then completely crash and burn. Go ahead and laugh. Hahahahahahaha...
I do wish that I'd done better in terms of grades. It's quite unfortunate, yes, quite unfortunate indeed...

I am of East Asian descent and am quite aware that my grades are... quite lackluster in comparison to that of peers with similar background, and I hope that this does not play against me in terms of admission. I intend on retaking SAT I & SAT II Subject Tests and I am fairly confident, if not eager for my personal statement!

Overall GPA is 3.2778, weighted is 3.6667, and the UC/CSU A-G weighted is 3.4500. I graduate at top quarter of my class (woot?).

As follows are my current high school classes:

Freshman:
Concert (sem1)/Symphonic Band (sem2)
Band - Woodwinds (counts as a PE/extracurricular class due to marching band)
H/Biology
Spanish I
H/English I
Life Skills (freshman req.)/Asian American Studies (grad. req.)
Algebra 2

Sophomore:
Spanish II
H/College Math
Band - Woodwinds
Wind Symphony
Chemistry
AP/World History
H/English II

Junior:
AP/Language & Composition
H/Spanish III
AP/Calculus AB
AP/US History
Wind Symphony
AP/Physics

Senior (projected/I have yet to learn my lesson):
AP/Statistics
AP/English Literature
AP/US Government and Politics + AP/Economics
AP/Studio Art
H/Human Physiology and Anatomy
Wind Symphony

SAT I stands at 2010. I've yet to take SAT II subject tests.

Projected community service hours will be approximately 75 hours. I will have completed four years of marching band by the time I graduate. I participate musically at my church, though hours are not logged. I have also been a part of my school's Improv team. Outside of academics, I frequently draw for requests and commissions amongst peers. I have been playing piano for about twelve years, having "graduated" from the ABRSM two or three years ago, and I have played flute and piccolo for about six years. Outside of band, I am an amateur musical transcriber/arranger for wind ensemble and I write extensively outside of school for personal enjoyment (hence my arrogance regarding personal statements, haha.)

Unfortunately, in my academic career, I've received multiple C's and two D's (erk), one in each AP Calculus AB and AP/Physics. The latter of the D's I am currently taking an online course to transfer credit, and the former I await AP results later on today (!!!) to affirm further action.

The UCs that I am currently looking at are: UC Irvine, UC Davis, UC Santa Cruz
Though, of course, if anyone would like to chance me on the other UCs/private colleges, I'd greatly appreciate it as well!

Bump! (⌒▽⌒)

You are most certainly a match for UC Santa Cruz, fortunately on account of your class rigor and SATs, but UCI and UCD have become increasingly competitive over recent years, so I would say they are solid reaches for you. GPA is, by far, the most important criteria used by the UC’s, but if you can write your heart out, I think you can hope to get into at least one mid-level UC (UCD,UCI,UCSB), or if you can stand out well enough in the non-academic factors, perhaps even UCLA or UCB. Colleges will appreciate your effort, and you will be most certainly prepared for college and successful in life- no matter where you end up going.
