I want to go to Tufts, Middlebury, or Macalester for International Studies or International Relations. I'm female, white, and not a first generation or anything. I didn't get accepted to Tufts fly in program.

SAT
*first time horrible: 1650: 510CR/550M/590W essay=8
*second time: 2020: 610CR/700M/710W essay=8
*sat2s will be taken in Nov. I expect low/mid 700s
* tried the ACT and am guessing I got around a 29 but plan to submit SAT

GPA: unweighted and upward trend.
*rigorous course load form school consistently rated in top 5 HS's
fresh:3.25
soph:3.5
junior:3.67
senior: 3.83ish (all A's but 1 B)

*8 AP exams, mostly 4s and 5s

ESSAY:
I honestly love my common app essay. It's artsy and revolves around a metaphor, shows cultural awareness/desire to learn about world and make a differense in an un-tacky way, and is something that's honest, uniquely me, and no one else could write it. If I get into one of these schools, I think it will because of my essay.

extracurriculars: unique and quirky
*junior league roller derby
*only person under 55 on a badminton team
* intern at refugee resettlement agency for 2 years. I am doing a senior research project and thesis with them this year too.
*community service
* various clubs with global focus/cultural awareness theme
* calculus teaching assistant for 2 years

My questions are:
*Do I have a decent shot at these schools?

*Do I need to take the SAT again? I predict my math will stay the same, writing will improve but not past 740 or so, and I don't know how to improve my CR, it's always my worst and I've done tons of practice tests but I will try again if that will help.

*Does it look bad to take the SAT 3 times?

Thank you!
