I live out of state, in Massachusetts.

I have not taken the SATs yet, but I am taking them soon. Usually when i do practice tests I average around a 2150.

By the time I apply I believe my UC gpa will probably be about a 4.25.

My EC's include:
4 year varsity tennis
probable 2 years of captainship for tennis
2 years of NHS
co-founding a small programming business
about 60 hours web development community service
creation of a small scale social networking website

What do you think my chances are at Berkeley? and also possible UCLA?

Please respond back after you get your test scores.

Also list your intended major. Are you full pay or in need of financial aid? No FA for OOS at UC’s.

SAT is low for UC Berkeley…and it’s not even a real score. You should expect getting a lower score in an actual one.

I intend on majoring in computer science in the engineering department. If I do not get into engineering, I think a different school would be my best option.
Also, I would not need financial aid.

I will chance you once you have your SAT score. Aim for a 2200+ since CS is very competitive.
