Chances At Ucb From A Community College

i have a 4.0 gpa in pre med club, took most of my pre req science courses is UCB a possible option for transfer?

yea sure why not....

Lol, I would think you'll get in. Unlike highschool, 4.0 is as high as it gets right? Complement those achivements with a well written personal statement and you should get in.

KICK ASS! and to think i left my HS during Junior year!

yeah you prolly get regents invite too

Me too! I got a GED at 17 because I was sick of HS. Somehow, I gravitated back to school 3 years later and am enjoying it. When are you transferring?

Yea, that Regents stuff is sweet. Just don't slip and get like an A- or something if your school uses the +/- system.

regents? please elaborate

exact same reason i left hs just sick of it, plus i knew that i wasnt going to get into any good 4 year university with a gpa below 3.0 and no ecs

so did you get a GED?

I left HS early too...i was 16 when I left.

How did you leave high school? Isn't it mandatory for every student under 18?

I took the CHSPE and left high school earlier too. Its LIKE the GED for those of you who don't know. I failed 6 classes my freshman year and decided to drop out in high school but its ok I got into UCLA, UCSD, UCSB, UCSC so far. Didn't apply to any other but Cal.

Screw High School!

yeah i did get my ged but if u wanna get out of highschool you just have to get parent consesnt, my mom wasnt even their she signed a letter.... kinda funny its not an excused absesnce hahahah

high school was the most pintless time in my life.... cmon if i cussed i got ATS and cleaned up the school on saturday what type of punishment is that for a 17 year old, the teachers were so undereducated and the staff was so incompetent. Community College was much better because I got a good education but I felt like I was still not challenged hopefully berkeley will kick my ass and I can become GREAT at whatever I do.
