I basically do everything at the school that has to with sound (lunchtime activities, football games, pep rallies, cutting music for dancers). About 10hrs/wk.
-Science National Honor Society: Me and my friends started up this club at our school. I am the treasurer for Junior and Senior Year. We do community service that is science related and give monthly lectures.
-Band: I played the tuba from freshman year until first semester of junior year (I had to quit in order to fulfill my P.E. requirements to graduate)
-National Honor Society (NHS): Service Club. Junior/Senior yr.
-California Scholarship Federation (CSF): Service club and college prep. From second semester freshman year until senior year.

I'm very involved with my church and do a decent amount of community service.

Also, I'm not taking a math senior year...not sure if that will hurt my chances.

Finally, I'm a CA resident.

So, what are my chances for UCB, UCLA, UCSD, UCI, Wash U, Stanford, Harvard, and MIT?

Anybody please?

UCB - In
UCLA - Unsure, could be in/rejected
UCSD - In
UCI - In
Wash U - Reject
Stanford - Reject
Harvard - Reject
MIT - Reject

Hey to give you some hope about Stanford.

I knew someone who was Asian, lived in California, had 1900-2000 SAT scores, subpar grades only in top 10% in rank, his extra curriculars while good were nothing extraordinary, but I'm assuming he had great teacher reqs.

But anyways, he got into Stanford like this. I was shocked.
