Chances at UCF and USF

Hello everyone. I am applying early action for UCF and USF for the Summer sessions, and I would like to know my chances. I was accepted at UNF yesterday morning at an on site admission, but its just my backup.

Academics:
2.8 GPA unweighted
27 ACT
1830 SAT
1 AP course (Psychology)
1 IB course (History)

ECs:
135 + community service hours
Writer for school magazine
Student government cabinet member for 3 years
Cameraman for school film department
Directed theater one act
Acted in school production

I am Hispanic, and I also have a learning disability (don't know if it helps). Finally, I am coming from a private school, and I know the acceptance averages are lower at my school (for example, while the average accepting at UNF is 3.73 GPA, the average of students from my high school accepted there is 3.1).

I will update this thread if I think of more things that should be posted.

Thank you for your time.

Also, forgot to post, don’t know how much it helps, but my two score SAT was 1280.

I think you need a higher gpa for UCF these days!

That is what I am thinking as well. I just know that my private school (ill leave it unnammed) is more challenging than public schools, and thus acceptance GPAs are lower.

Bumpity, and I would also like chances at UM (My mom is an alumni there if it helps). I know its a reach.

And I know that colleges like an upward trend in GPAs. My freshman year I averaged a 2.0. My Sophomore year was a 3.0, and my Junior year was a 3.1 (my final trimester was a 3.43).

Humpity Bumpity had a big fall… and took this thread down with him. Please chance!

Please people, please chance me. I see so many other threads being chanced. Ill chance back to the best of my ability!

How do you take just one IB class? I think UCF would be a small reach with a 2.8 GPA, USF you might be alright, not 100% sure though.

i dunno enough abt either but being hispanic should help you and emphasize the acting and you should be fine
