I am currently a freshman at the University of Oregon. I want to transfer to either UCLA, Cal Poly, UCB, or UCSB for my junior year of college, as I will be attending community college in California next year. In high school, I had a 4.45 GPA weighted and a 3.95 GPA unweighted with an SAT score of 1950. So far in college, I have a 4.0 through 2 terms, but this current spring term is not going so well for two of my classes (Business 240 and Economics 311).

If I were to transfer to these schools, I would want to do Business at UCB and Cal Poly, and either Bus-Econ or Economics at UCLA/UCSB. My question is: how do pass/fails look on transfer transcripts for either of the two classes I mentioned above, as opposed to getting a B in them? Is it okay to do pass/fail for one of them, or does it look bad and hurt my chances a lot? Will my grades from Fall term of Community College count towards my GPA, or will those grades not be factored into the admissions process?

Also, do high school grades/SAT scores help at all for transfer admissions to these schools, or are they not considered at all?
