Chances at UCLA, UCB, UCSD

I found a Newsweek ranking for the Top 1000 high schools:
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/7723397/site/newsweek/

According to this ranking, AMON must attend either Eastern Sierra Academy or Troy.
Right? RIGHT?!?!?!

true hurdlesrock i saw that as well but its not for all schools
AMON private messaged me and said he's going to whitney hs
the US News Top High Schools is for schools that dont require an admissions test or any type of selection. my school (troy) and whitney both select their students. That ranking is for the best "area" schools where anyone in the area can enroll

correct me if im wrong because i read this survey about two years ago

Harvard-Westlake is a private high school.
Troy just ranked #21 in the nation according to Newsweek

lol ok this discussion on "top high schools" isn't helping AMON much anyways because the colleges he/she is looking at dont take into consideration what high school you went to

can anyone else answer whether he has a shot at UCLA/UCB/UCSD

...lol i think that was what the original thread was about

even if some company ranks a high school "the top", it doesnt matter. no one pays attention. harvard westlake is a private school, but where i'm from it's considered the most selective, prestigeous,a nd a feeder for ivies.

Bump this back up

Can Anyone help me with UCLA/UCB/UCSD chances

-Thanks

I've heard of Whitney and how it's really competitive or whatever..

UCLA: slight reach
UCB: slight reach
UCSD: slightslight reach

? shrug i have similar stats as you

what exactly do you guys mean by "Slight reach"
does it mean i have a chance or that i can just dream
This is my main concern
