- STANFORD
- USC
- JHU

Cali Resident btw

I think im the typical UC or JH applicant (grade-wise, score-wise), but will the publication hopefully just give me a massive boost?

Depends, but I doubt a "massive" boost.

Don't lean too much on it.

Well, from what i've heard, publishing something in a National Science Journal is a pretty awesome feat, considering mostly people with Ph.D's manage to get essays in. (i'm not trying to act cocky, just what i've heard thats all)

That's awesome, but also, all I was saying was, don't depend on it for admission.

Can anyone give me chances?

Well since i think im the typical applicant, i would think it would tip the scales, so to speak, in my favor.

Uhm...for koreans?

2300+ SAT, 750(and above)x3 SAT IIs, 4.0 (uw) Violin/Viola 12 years, Piano 12 years, AP Calc BC Sophomore year, national AP scholar, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc.

.....would be a "typical" korean applicant.

Don't get me wrong, I never said you had a bad chance or anything. All I was telling you was to be cautious, and not to be too dependent on one thing as a factor for admission. You might think something is "outwardly" different, but to adcoms, they might see it otherwise.

May someone give me the chances please? thank you

chances anyone?

Good Chance at UCs

Slight Reach at JH

Reach at Stanford
