I will have good letters of rec and a strong essay!

My plan is to graduate and immediately attend medical school.

Thank you everyone!

I think you have a very, very good chance. The CR score could be a problem, but I don’t think so based on your geographic location. Keep up the good work!

Biomedical Engineering is REALLY TOUGH. IF your goal is med school, having a high GPA is going to be your main goal, so keep that in mind. Med schools don’t give any preference for engineering majors over any other major, but they sure care about a VERY high GPA. Not many can swing above a 3.5 in engineering.

Point of reference, one of my D guy friends had a 2250 SAT, had a 3.3 at UD Biomed Engineering. Photographic memory type of kid.

PS I would say you are in.

Oh wow that makes me really nervous! I feel confident hat I can do well, I push myself extremely hard and I know I can do it!

You’re in!!

Samiamy is right. Med. schools want high GPA’s. If you want Med. school, consider an easier major, and just get your sciences out of the way.

I think you will not have a problem. Good Luck…

Yes again. Do visit the med forum, and read some of the angst over the GPA and admissions to med school. you would hate your GPA to be the deciding factor when applying. The is more than one way to get to medical school it doesn’t have to be the most difficult major out there.
Putting this another way, my D told me there is only ONE Del Engineering grad in recent memory, she was told of by her professors (wont say the exact discipline) that had a 4.0 from beginning to end of undergrad. ONE.
