Chances at UNC-Chapel Hill?

<p>Hello everyone, I would really like to go to UNC-CH, it is my top choice. However, I have some doubt that I will get accepted. Can anyone estimate my chances for acceptance?</p>

<p>-3.81 Weighted (I'm not quite sure what unweighted would be, my school does not provide it)</p>

<p>I hate to be the only naysayer but I think you are a long shot..the average GPA is 4.4ish and thats for in-state. We have heard the UNC rep describe the admission process as GPA is the "cake", the SAT is the "icing" and ECs are "sprinkles" on the cake..basically, they heavily weigh the GPA and the ECs only make the whole thing look good. Hope I'm wrong!</p>

<p>I really think you have a great shot. Maybe contact the tennis coach. He/she may be able to flag your application. I say in regardless. MAYBE low reach.</p>

<p>oh and lotta, I am instate, Raleigh, NC is in NC... and according to my schools scatterplot for UNC (my very prestigious school) the average GPA is 4.14 and SAT is 1380 but thanks for your input</p>
