Chances at University of Kentucky

My statistics are well laid out [url="<a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=90965%22%5Dhere%5B/url">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=90965"]here[/url</a>]. I am mainly curious about my chances of getting into the University of Kentucky, but while we're at it:

Virginia Commonwealth University
West Virginia University

I indicated Electrical Engineering as my intended major, Computer Science as a secondary choice. I've heard you can be rejected for a particular major within a college, and yet still be accepted to the school... how does that work?

Bump! C'mon, I'm dying here.

You have an ACT of about 30, while UK has a 22-27 range for that, so you're in the top 25% there. Your GPA (2.6) puts you in the lower 25%, though, and only 13% of UK students have a GPA under 3.0. This means that it will definetely be tough to get in, but I'm sure you can do it.

Those schools are not that selective. With your 30 ACT, at least one will accept you, despite the GPA.
