I am currently a senior applying for early action at UMich for LSA. I was wondering what my chances were. I know nobody works for admissions but I was just trying to get a chance.

Wanted to volunteer at UMich hospital over the Summer
Get an internship at the hospital
I also have earned money through video games but that’s probably besides the point, as colleges don’t care.
Do you think if I took the SAT, got a 1500+, and submitted in between early apps and regular decision (if I get deferred), I would have somewhat of a chance?
Thank God. It is my unweighted gpa. I am trying my best currently in senior year. Do you think if my November SAT is not cancelled, and I get a 1500+. and send it between getting deferred and regular apps, I would have a significantly better chance?
Yes, a 1,500+ increases your chances. The likelihood of deferral is high with your unweighted GPA, but an SAT score of 1,500+ will surely help your app especially as an in-stater.
I’ve recorded here on CC students being accepted with uwGPA’s of around 3.65-3.70 with a lower SAT score (mid-to-high 1,400’s) than what your shooting for with the 1,500+. So keep your hopes up.
