I'm a white female applying to the engineering school from out of state. I take challenging classes and get mainly As and Bs (although I did get a C in chemistry sophomore year). My school does not rank but it is a highly recognized high school in New Jersey. My SAT scores are meh: 610 math 630 eng 670 writing. I've maintained the same job in high school for three years, played high school level field hockey, and have a few other extracurriculars as well. I am really interested in UT Austin (I've visited twice already) but I'm worried I won't be admitted into the aerospace engineering program. What are my chances? And if I get accepted into the main campus instead, is it better to go elsewhere or stay at UT and hopefully work my way into the engineering program?

Low Reach, need to try to boost SAT Scores by around 60-100 points overall
