I am far from the top 7%. I am in about top 21-22%.
My ACT score was a 22, but I did not study at all or bubble in anything for over a third of the entire test (was unaware of the no penalty for incorrect answers). However I am taking the next ACT and am absolutely confident I'll score over a 28.

Anyway, I do live in Texas and UT has been my dream school since I was a kid, but due to the lack of PreAP classes in grade 9-10 and lack of effort, I am stuck just inside the first quarter of my class.

As of now my unweighted GPA is 3.78, but I have a 96 avg. this semester so far, so we'll see how that goes. I am pursuing a career in engineering and am currently enrolled in AP Calculus (90avg) and AP Physics B (100avg)
I am currently a high school senior looking to apply to schools very soon, but what do you think my chances are? Any suggestions... Getting CAPped, etc...

Also... Schools I'll be applying to and what are my chances

UT
Texas Tech
A&M College Station
UT Dallas

Any other suggestions more than welcome, thank you.
