<p>I am a junior, just recently went on my visit to Virginia Tech a couple weeks ago, and absolutely loved the campus. Now after what has happened, I want to be a part of the Hokie family even more.</p>

<p>Male, live in VA, Legacy
GPA:4.2 W, 3.7 UW, (NO C's)
CLASS RANK: 20/249
SAT (taken once, will take again in June): 1310 (640 CR, 670 M)
Taken all-core curriculum honors classes, including 1 AP Junior year and 3 APs, one dual enrollment senior year
ECs arent super, but I have some stuff:
NHS, Environmental Club, School Newspaper (Sports Editor), Job at county Library (12+ hrs a week), 100 + hrs community service</p>

<p>sounds like you're on par/above the averages at tech. i'd say you're in... try to get some leadership roles (such as an office in NHS or Environmental Club) to solidify your application.</p>
