<p>This is true. I suggest you have a long talk with your guidance counselor to sort out what would be reasonable matches and safeties for you.</p>
<p>As a new Wellesley first-year, I've talked to a lot of girls who applied and are attending Wellesley. Every girl I've talked to has a GPA over 3.5 and SATs of 1350+ (old). You'd need to write a very good essay.</p>
<p>I think the suggestion of Sweet Briar is a good one, if you're into horseback riding and you want a women's college. Make sure your list isn't too top-heavy- you need some safety schools that you'll be happy attending.</p>
